Over the past couple of years, I have read a lot of wedding-related articles and have noticed that there is very little advice out there for grooms. This is especially the case when it comes to buying their wedding suit. So, I thought I would do my bit to start bridging the gap by writing this short groom outfit shopping guide.

Shop in the right places

Match the theme

It is very important to buy something that fits in with the overall look and feel of your wedding. You want to complement your bride and the rest of the wedding party.

Start the shopping process early

This is one of the reasons it is important not to leave the shopping for your wedding suit to the last minute. You need time to discuss what you are going to wear with your bride and find something suitable.

Do use a tailor

Even if you opt to buy an off the peg suit put some money aside to have it properly fitted. Doing this will make a huge difference to how good you look and feel on the day.

Have a fall back plan

On the day, get dressed early. That way if anything has been missed, you have an hour or two to fix things.
