A macaron is a sweet meringue-based confection made with eggs, icing sugar, caster sugar, ground almonds and food colouring. With a delicately light crust briefly giving way to a layer of moist almond meringue finished with a silky smooth filling this little confection easily melts in the mouth. Why nbot do something different for your wedding and have a macaron wedding cake instead? Here are some of my favourites!
